Request increase META TAG SPACE

I am given to understand that Forumotion will not allow downloading a file to the server. That being a fact is the basis for the premise of my problem.

Serveral services that provide search engine optimization request one of two things:
1.) placing an empty file the can locate for proof of site ownership or
2.) Placement of a key in the header page for the same purpose.

The second option is fine, in fact it's easier and preferable to FTP file transfer but the problem is the space allocated for that purpose is insufficient. This is a sample of my metatag header (the long ID is a google identifier and it is almost at the limit of space allotted):
