Mods Can't Ban Members? [solved]

Admin panel/General/Security/Security Administration:

I changed "Disallow moderators to ban members" to [ Inactive ]

What am I missing?

Nothing. If thats what you done then your moderators should be able to ban members.

But the reason for the thread, is that my "Mods Can't Ban Members", and I want
them to be able to.

Have your mods actually told you that they cant ban members even after you enabled the option to allow moderators to ban members?

I created a new user myself, and I made that user a Mod,
and when I log in as that Mod, and I go to the member
profile, the "Ban this member" button is not there.

Is there any support here?

Do you have a moderator group? It sometimes happens that newly added member don't have full moderation rights. Please try if this works: Go to "Users & Groups / Groups" and click this icon for the mod group. Now hit save just without changing something.

Yes, I have a Moderator group. There was one by default when I created the forum.

Anyway, your suggestion worked! I made no changes and Saved.
