I know this isn't news to you being as you have already been told about this once before by Luky. Next time will be a warning.
Re: Firefox or Internet Explorer?
I have both IE7 and Firefox 3, and I can tell from experience that Firefox is much much better. It's a simple fact that Firefox blocks viruses, spyware, and trojans that IE simply doesn't. Before I got Firefox, my computer was filled up with tons of different viruses. When I switched to using only Firefox, I immediately noticed the difference, mainly lack of popups. Firefox, in my opinion, is better. Hands down. If you think IE is better, that's fine with me. It doesn't matter to me what browser everyone else uses, as long as you like it, fine. I'm happy with Firefox.

I agree!
Plus, FireFox is Compatible with AdBlock Plus so I don't need to see any of those pesky ads anymore!
Re: Firefox or Internet Explorer?
I have both Internet Explorer and Firefox, but almost exclusively use Firefox; for the usual reasons - safer, faster & ad-block...

I have Firefox 3 too and I think it's kinda cool but I haven't seen a browser that beats Safari. It's so secure, good-looking, lightweight and fast and I have no reason to use any other browser. And I have used Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, Camino and few other browsers.
Safari4ever.
Safari is indeed an excellent browser, but unfortunately it's an Apple only platform. The discussion has been mostly Pc based software, so nobody got into other than IE, FF, or Opera.

Just download "spybot search & destroy" or "lavasoft ad-aware" to scan your system for spywares/malwares, you'll be surprised from what you'll find
Other tools exist, but you might want to start with those first.
You say you don't have spywares, but often spywares aren't even noticed by the users if he doesn't do a proper scan of his system, with the proper tools.
So before claiming you don't have any, be sure to have properly scanned your computer.
I won't say anything more on firefox/IE, enough has been said to you.

Re: Firefox or Internet Explorer?
my computer go for a service & a upgrade every year and no virus, spyware, adware or whatever else they dont find these things on my computer too i been on computer long enough to know how you get spyware, adware, virus, trojans and keylogger
5 basic rules when you using the internet
1) dont go on dodgys website
2) think before you click on a links
3) always have a good anit-virus and firewall
4) dont add anybody that you dont really know to your friends list
5) dont d/l crack programs because 99% of the time they have virus, trojans and spyware in them
that why i have been soooooooo clean for over 6 years......

Re: Firefox or Internet Explorer?
that doesn't protect you from all exploits and glitches that are present in IE, even if you don't click anything dodgy, by using a dodgy browser you're still at risk
This link might guide you a little :
http://www.jmu.edu/computing/security/info/ie-exploits.shtml
I still recommend you to try out spybot and do a full scan, it will only take around 10 minutes and you'll see for yourself.
You just forgot basic rules number 6 tho :
6) Avoid using Internet explorer

Re: Firefox or Internet Explorer?
You never know what can pop into your computer spook. You will never be 100% sure that your computer is clean unless you have a good virus/spyware software. A while ago i was using internet explorer, i didn't go into stupid sites, i didn't download anything, i was using internet explorer, and i though like you said
Then the next day, i don't know what got into my pc, but i could not even get to my menu. Now i have been using FireFox and i have never got any virusesmy computer is clean and always will be clean

you always affirm things without even checking, i will never understand how you work
you might be really surprised if you checked closely into things, and not just throw those affirmations to us without no tests on your side.
how can you possibly be sure your computer is 100% clean without even doing a proper system scan with an anti-spyware tool?
No computer is 100% clean as long as you browse internet anyway, the only way of keeping it 100% clean is by disconnecting yourself from all of it.
I think i'll just leave you with your opinion, even with the best arguments in the world you'll still say the same things just to keep the sensation you're right.
