Re: Firefox or Internet Explorer?
For those who don't like Firefox's graphics : You can skin it
If you talk about websites' graphics : Maybe the websites who are badly displayed under FF are badly coded (coded according to IE), or are coded with Frontpage who's the worst HTML editor because it uses nonstandard code (like VML) who's only IE compatible.
IE7 still implements CSS2 poorly and has the bad habit to switch to Quirks mode (displaying pages as an old-coded Web page) when a comment is inserted before the Doctype line. See the examples with IE7 : Without comment before Doctype line | With comment before Doctype line You will see that the block centering and the rollover assigned to a non-link element don't work in the second link under IE7.
It's even worse with IE6 since these features don't work at all, and it doesn't manage the PNG24 transparency.

the thing is about changing your themes, skins or setting some people wont know how to do thing like that and when you making a websites or forums you really need to use the same setting, theme or skin that you d/l first so it look right for most people.

Exactly correct, and the reason most designers use it and design for FF. Designing CSS sites to display properly - or even close - in any of the IE versions is an exercise in futility. I don't even bother anymore. Better things to do with my time than write a dozen hacks so IE displays code properly. IE is the only browser out there that doesn't comply with CSS2 conventions. Garbage.

Re: Firefox or Internet Explorer?
I use Opera on my desktop, while my wife uses Firefox (it's okay but I like opera better), on our Laptop I use IE7 only as I haven't switched it in the 7 months we've had it.
Re: Firefox or Internet Explorer?
I have mine Firefox and IE running perfectly together
Check out how to get both working smoothly
