( Only Topic ) Recent Server Issue / Problem

First topic message reminder :

I've made a age of conan guild forums here, and now it just shows a white screen when I try access it, could someone help me? Name of the forums is http://chaoticlegion.forumakers.com/

Seems like the majority of us had the same problem.Im hoping to see details of solving it as soon as possible.

These problems always come and go, its typically just a minor server glitch.

I'm having that problem, as well as a Chatbox script error that constantly comes up.

Thats not a server problem

but ur problem is from the chatbox its self, the techies are trying to fix it(like they have been for a loong time now)

just uninstall ur chatbox, and put it back there.

um...i dont really know how bad my problem is but is it considered a server issue if you can get on a site on one computer and not another. Because i think i said this before but a site i'm admining on i cant access from a school computer yet i can access it from my personal laptop. and its not a school wide block because i can access other forumotion sites. i mean i'm typing this on the school computer!!!! but i just wanna know if there's a way to fix it. Thanx again

there is a word : General Error | Couldn't obtain smilies data.

That would of most likely been caused by ur forum being backed up with the backup tools.

Guys, girls, please don't forget that ur forum does get backed up daily which can cause some minor down time.

I'm not sure about that darren1. When our forum backs up, the forum is completely offine. There is no error message. That's happened when forums have gone down due to server problems and they eventually do come back online. But it can take awhile, sometimes over a day.

is it just me, or did the support forum just go down for an extensive period of time??

No, not just you Daz, I have been having problems too. Tried to send a post, it wouldn't connect so I closed the page. I was then getting the white page. I didn't have to wait 30 minutes tho.

That's reassuring, but not completely putting me out of my worry.

But it makes me think there's an update being uploaded to the server, not that I care about it anymore.

You may be right about the update, but sometimes servers have problems for all sorts of reasons. I wouldn't worry too much, the forums always come back, just persevere and you'll get back on

My site is not showing up what it needs to show up. About a few hours ago, it may had been turned down. I would like to know what is going on with my site. My members are now contacting to me and asking me what is wrong. I need to know what is going on.

Hello, i am loading you forum perfectly fine.

you and your users may just need to clear your cache and cookies to be able to see the forum as per usual.

~this has been resolved via MSN.

Many of my members can not see the forum. Which what they see is a black page, or general error or a white page. They had reported to me that it was working fine early this morning. But it not working and I cannot log in for some reason. I cannot see the pictures, see all of the menu and the left side information within a chat box.

...........................And AGAIN a 30 minute outage!!!!

every day at 5.30PM!!!! (this is really starting to fire me up, this is the 20th time now )

Have you tried clearing your cache + cookies?

Our members can't get into our forum, those that can after a long battle find the pages time out won't load.

It's not my settings, other members are having problems too.
