( Only Topic ) Recent Server Issue / Problem

First topic message reminder :

I've made a age of conan guild forums here, and now it just shows a white screen when I try access it, could someone help me? Name of the forums is http://chaoticlegion.forumakers.com/

There are some problems on my forum. I'm getting general error's coming up when I or my members try to enter a topic. It says:

General Error
Could not obtain smilies data

And my portal is messed up.

Can someone help fix it? No one can post.

go into ur admin panel and try a reset and a resync.
That could be the cause of ur problem.

I do not think anything is resolved yet!
Due to all the problems I am having with Invision
My Nav bar is screwed up..misplaced
and the chat box has scrollbars on IE but no scroll bars on Firefox...
and I am unable to put a picture for the bars above the topics area all it does is stay green

Are you running IE6 or later for IE?
FF(firefox) will typically not screw up

Indead there are still some bugs in invision (IPB) boards, they will hophally be fixed soemtime soon.

I just tried to visit my forum and I see a critical error. I can't get to my admin panel, I can't get anywhere in it. What's going on? When will this be fixed?

Cripes, it works fine now. WTH?! Makes me think I was just dreaming it but I swear I wasn't.

The servers are currentally experiencing some problems, however the techies are aware of it and are trying their best to keep the servers well maintaned.
As well as giving us updates.

If you ever cannot access ur forum, you could use the powerful Founder toolls.

Founder tools are the ones that you can remove html errors, do system restores and many other options.

xntrick, if you put together what both darren and prince caspian has said then you get your answer.

The double posting is within a 24 hour period, BUT when posted consecutively (in a row), BEFORE someone else posts. If you need to add something to what you already said, instead of clicking the reply to add more, just use the edit button for your last post, to add more.

I usually will actually add to the edit the words "edited to add..." so that people understand that more has been added in case they already read my original post before I added more.

I hope that makes sense.

What do you mean by saying "it's not stolen"? I have seen this image at many many sites, that offer free images, it is also on many applications on facebook and myspace. I never stated that I made it.

ooh, i didnt think we were argueing, but thanks for the heads up.

Can Typlo or a tech tell us why our servers occasionally lagg, have down-time or any other probles as such.

Because im getting tired of typing "the server is overloaded with people on it, just give it some time and you will be able to access your forum again" and many other things.

It would be a really good thing if a tech could explain what is going on with the server's because it wasnt happening 6 months ago when i started my acocunt here.

Something major is going on with my forum...everything looks all out of wack! Everything is jumbled together and there is no rows or nothing. Steph, try doing a re-sync and/or set of ur forum which should restore ur forum to a non-messed up state.

I deleted the forum and this morning I received
The forum-our children-and-mi.forumj.biz does not exist.
Verify the internet address you typed: our-children-and-mi.forumj.biz,
and try again if there is a mistake.

It is possible that the administrator has chosen to delete it.

I cant access my forum/portal also.

Both can be access from Forum Utilities but site link cannot be open. Just blank. White screen.

My problem have been fixed. But i do have another problem.

My administrator account turns to Normal Users account. Now i can't edit the forum. I cant enter to Administrative Panel. Coz my current account turns to normal account.

Yes. Im a member of both "Administrator" and "Game Master" group. But I still can't see the "Administration Panel" using my account.

Btw, I've post the same problem in "Administration problems" section. Coz its about administration problem.

ok, as saying by what i said in ur thread, this is a techies issue.

PS. there's a difference between server issues and admin panel issues.
