Graphics Gallery

First topic message reminder :



Here I propose a Graphics section for Forumotion members to share some of
thier creations with us. We have alot of creative minds among us and
inspiring graphic artists egar to share , learn and expand thier
graphic skills. So please feel free to post some of your work here if
you'd like.

What the Graphics Gallery is Not :

~ A place to attack other members creations : I ask you to please be nice
and refrain from hateful, judgemental posts of this nature. Members
found doing so will be addressed accordingly.

~ A place to spam one's entire graphic creation history: I ask you to please be selective and avoid over posting graphics here. Members are allowed to share
thier graphic designs here once a day , if they choose. ( Please use the edit feature to add to the original post if you feel the need to share more .) Graphic posts must be seperated by a 24 hour time frame.

~ A place for explicit , inappropriate graphics of a sexual nature,
graphics including profanity and such offensive materials will be
removed and warnings will be given.

Please Note: These rules may be updated at anytime, accordingly if necessary. So members, please reread them often and respect them, so we may all enjoy sharing our graphics here.

From the penguin's XCF file (GIMP's PSDs) I kept, here's a new avatar to replace the Misstux one ^^

I know I could of added some eye candy and such but...blah.
1st attempt = 1st trial for that particular request

Don't worry. It may be empty now but you will learn, while you try making more and more. Everyone improves! My first try was worse that yours...

that's the problem pacific, that wasn't the first user bar iv made
I am missing many things (appallingly) such as: Scan Lines, and a better pic.

But don't know how to add the pic, and get it to stay there if it is larger than the userbar its self

I use Paint.NET alone, and online sites for animation.

And no, i dont want to purchase GIMP or PS4, thats why I dont have them.

Thanks but, I want to learn 1 thing at a time, and Paint.NET is more than capable of what GIMP can do
(downloads hundreds of plug ins)

GIMP and Paint.NET are both free, but Paint.NET has a downfall compared to GIMP : The use of .NET framework makes it compatible only with Windows, while GIMP is cross-platform (works on Windows, Mac, Linux, BSD and other platforms), so if one day, you want to take out another OS, just like I did with my penguin, you'll have to switch to GIMP.

Agreed.
GIMP is more .. advanced you can say, and better than everything -- out of the free downloads. ( GIMP isn't really better than PS )

I still use MS Paint for Spriting, though. xD
It is good to keep the basics.

I use MS Paint all the time since my computer is Dial up and it has a virus blocker; so that means I can't download any graphic programmes. I still have PS, but it never let's me sign in.
