Besides Rank Can I add other icons to users names?

Ill try to explain this best I can. I am hosting our gaming guild's forums. I do have a ranking system which is based of medieval titles. Start as a serf work your way up to King. For each rank im using animated gifs that look pretty cool but I would like to add more to certain members. For example our Guild leader, i would like to have a little ribbon or something of that matter to represent him as the Founder of our guild along with his forum rank. Or perhaps use military ribbons to show which games members play without having it replace their animation rank. Any ideas on how I can accomplish this?

One other thing, i thought about editing the specific rank of the individual and pasting on the ribbons or whatever to the animated gif but the problem is I use Photoshop and when I open up the animated gif the animation stops and will continue to stop when I save the new file.

You can merge the 2 images together with the right graphics program.

Lets say this is your animated rank (yes of course it looks nothing like a rank...lol)



And this is your Non animated ribbon


Merge them together and you get



If you decide to go ahead and try it, Go to the graphics request section and ask for one, using your animated rank and whatever "ribbon" you have chosen.

Can i ask what program you used to do that? Instead of asking other to do it for me I'd really like to do it myself.

Any graphics editor that can handle layers can do it. Photoshop, GIMP, PaintShopPro, etc.

I used Serif PhotoPlus, it is a free program. Look for it in free tools on www.serif.com
