On the french version, there's a section for "old staff", and somehow I'm in it. Anyways, I keep going there regularly to scream out about the suggestions, and the chronic absence of techie (or techie-related) response. This Big Vote happened when I was moderator, and that was a long, long time ago. That speaks for itself...

For the rest, I dare think that my staff is more than competent, and that we try our best everyday to provide quality, free service

I know You do a lot behind the screens, others may not know that. Believe me I know. As far as the staff here I wasn't tying to say they were unknowledgeable. But there have been some topics that even slipped my eyes that needed help and went unreplied.

I am glad that someone else remembers that shame of a vote. The thing is that we actually have a theme selector (Temporary themes), if they could add that to the admin panel why not user profiles?

And as far as the suggestions, I MYSELF would pay credits for many of them. I have over 4,900 credits just collecting dust!

As far as your current mods, I am not voting sunny_D as my fav but that man knows his stuff!

ya. I would pay to use alot of the features suggested. I just got my laptop so I have alot of money to spare on forumotion.

of course i like it here ... over the 5+ yrs ive had my forum (various software and hosting providers) so far ... Forumotion has been one of the best

Forumotion isn't perfect.

But I really can't imagine using anything but for my forumous crusades.

Okay, I like it. I have 7 forums here and it's really worth it.
I was able to modify a board so I can use it as a blog. Through the admin panel it's easy to do so and even jerks should be able to handle forumtion.

I think there is still stuff which can be done. But after all, you get this all free here, free forum, free host, free unlimited picture host, free support. I can't see why some people say it's shit... o.O
And, come on, with activated tmeplates (which are really cheap) you can do everything!

The only thing of the free support I don't like is that easy things are sometimes not answered or they're never done. I read yesterday that some people from croatia have problems with the croatian alphabet and asked for help a month ago! Until now nothing changed, one guy even said he's unable to log in now, because he can't type in his username.

Lot's of pros, a few cons. Everything has a contra^^

Edit: and if I become a mod here one day, I wouldn't mind the cooties! (not that I'd ever be a good mod^^)

I've had many forums with Forumotion and I'm extremely pleased with the great service and updates they provide

I've been with the service for 1 and a half years! I joined back when we almost hit 1000 posts and Forumotion was still called EditBoard.

I've tried other services, but I've become so used to Forumotion's admin panel that there is no turning back The only other service that comes close to Forumotion is IPBFree, but that has such a hard interface and User CP that it wasn't worth the time and effort

They keep up with the times, upgrading everything to suit their updates and making everything user-friendly. (Like new phpBB versions)

However, changing it's name isn't very user-friendly. Typlo or Caihlem might be able to inform you on this

Hey, the world would be boring if we would like everyone...

I didn't know it was called a time Niceboard. To be honest, forumotion sounds the best of all three names. I hope we can stay with it for a long, LONG time!
