how to change portal link??????/

hello how can i modify portal page link so dat i can make my own html page and i link it to portal......i saw da option in da admin panel but im not able to change dat can any body temme wht to do...i went to display>homepage>headers and navigation>portal modify....as there are option for portal redirect link but im not able to change it...it was faded...i can't edit it...help me plzzzz

First, please try to speak clearly.

Second, you can make the HTML page in Admin CP>Modules>HTML Page Management>Create it>Check make this my homepage.

oh im sorry if u people are confused with my slang........ya u got my point....i have created a html page. so now temme can i make this created html page as my portal???????????

sorry. you can't do that. you can add the html as navigation though

as u said i made ahtml page and i ticked the option to set as my home page and also i inserted the formotions link in my html page and i saved.....changes saved successfully but i can't see my created html page as home page....im seeing the same old home page??????

then you also have to make the portal NOT your homepage.

In your admin panel: you find your portal, but instead of clicking "structure" to modify it, I imageine you would delete it. Don't quote me on this. Either that or there's some option somewhere (If I dug, i could prolly find it) that says "use portal as homepage" or some such. I really don't know what to tell you. This is my best guess.
