Because forumotion owns the database and does not permit copies. It is stated clearly when you start your forum.

I know but.. Well its unfair that they should keep the data base to themselfs. Its our forum, I know they host it but we still should have acsess to our forum database.

No, its their forum(s), we are just using them. Not to mention..when you made a forum, you agree'd to it.

I know I agreed to it but I didn't know much about forums when I made it. Perhapps it is their forums but they could at least let us customize, their forums that we use, up.

Why do you keep arguing the point? You CANNOT have a copy of the database - it's not yours, you don't own it - Forumotion does and you agreed to that when you signed up.
