email confirmation problem

good morning to all...

may i ask why there's a problem on my forum regarding email activation/confirmation for new registered members...email activation has not been recieved...why?

Admin panel>>User & Groups>>User Options

Make sure by new accounts activation, user is filled in. Also Under, "Send notify email on new user registrations" Fill in admin.

I had the same problem, did this, and it worked afterwards.
