New user email confirmation

Please forgive if this has been asked. I couldn't find it anywhere.

I would like to change the email address the request for confirmation is sent to when a new member registers. What I hope to do is to make it possible for anyone on the moderation team to accept a new member but at present it only comes to my personal email address. I hope to set up an email account for all moderators and or administrators.

Sorry but its not possible to edit emails when new users join.
