Is there a quick way where as I can restrict new users from viewing the forums (apart from a topic called introductions) until they have posted for the first time?

Yes, you will need to make a rank called "new users" minimum posts 1 and set the permissions for that particular rank to only see the intro forum, you would not need to put everyne else in another group, just a group for the new users Wink

Hope i could help,
Timmy

Ranks do not have permissions to set. Ranks are only labels. You need to manually move the members from group to group.
