Trouble with setting moderators...

This happens to me way to often..... This is like the 4th or 5th mod I have ever assigned, and I always have the same problem....


I set a member to be a mod, gave them the Moderator rank, put them in the moderator group, colorized usernames are set to on, and his permissions say he is a moderator of all forums, yet he is not listed under special users therefor cannot ban anyone if need be. I have set mods to be allowed to ban people so that's not the problem either....

What am i doing wrong?

Are you sure everythins set right? And that the mods are allowed to ban. You may have ticked the wrong box. If you did tick the right one then I don't know why its happening.

Well I understand whats happening, moderators can't ban, but he needs to give us more info.

see when you set you the mod rank did you click yes on: Set as Special Rank : Yes No ????

I don't think he means the rank, just that mods can't ban members.
