Setting Moderators

Ok for some reason after setting people to moderator it says they are moderator but they cannot do moderator things like lock sticky etc.. I set them to moderator and put their special rank to moderator but still nothing. Their name doesnt change to the moderator color either. And when i try to change the moderator/admin colors they dont update, Any help?

have ou mad eyour that for the forums you want them to moderate, that they are set in the forums permissions as moderator? Admin>>forums>>>forum and category management. Click any forums permissions to set a moderator for it.

For the coloured names, have you been into admin>>users and groups>>user settings and set colourize user names to yes?

yes the colored names are set to yes but it doesnt change, and now my admin name is red but its set to blue and i still have admin

and is there a way to make a certain group moderate a bunch of forums without doing them one by one?

no you have to set each forum
