Smilies Problem

i have a problem with smilies
when i upload them they dont show ... neither in the admin cp or the posting

So, you click browse, right? Then you fill in the other required fields, and click save? But it still doesn't work?

Hmm, I wonder if it only allows like the words with just : no : those dot brackets around it, have you tried it just that way without all the extra : Sad

That might be the problem. I only use them that way and they always work on my forum. Smile

it doesnt show !
even when i try to choose them from the list in the left ... the arent there.

Hmmm, that is strange then, are you sure you have always enable smiles clicked to yes in the members profile preferences , also when creating a new topic maybe the disable smiles has been clicked accidentally, check those 2 things as well, as I can't understand why that would be happening on your forum really Blaster. blackeye

Jeepers ok, How about this, Have you gone into your Admin Panel=>General=>Forum=>Messages and Emails... scroll down to "Allow Smilies".. Is that also clicked to yes? scratch

it's already enabled ... but i forgot to tell you ... not all the smilies don't work ... the pre-set ones work
