Portal Question

hi i would like to ask a question. how could i make the the portal in other site. i mean my forum portal is made by another site. how can i make that?

So you go to Admin Panel >> Display >> Headers and navigation.

there you will find "Home , Portal and all other links..."
Click the yellow machine thingy "" at the portal line and then it will give you the:

Name : Portal
Menu : Portal
Img src : http://servimg...portal.jpg
redirection url: [THIS IS WHAT YOU HAVE TO CHANGE] http://yourforum.forumotion/portal.htm

replace that with the url of your portal , so it looks like

redirection url : www.google.com

ok problem is. i can't edit it. i can only edit the image but not the URL..

well yes not the url ^^ you have to create a new one called PortalPerso and remove the portal of your site and so actually your site will no longer have portal but will only have forum/calendar/galley/ ext and a link to what you will call Portal and the icon you had previusly for Portal

huh? what i mean is the rules you posted up before my last post i went there but the portal management aint editable.
