Help with a banner?

Hi,

I have tried for ages to create a good looking banner for my forum. The forum is all about radios which some will find boring (I a sure)...

Anyway I have had the forum for over a year now and still have no banner for it. Can anyone help?

The forum is called QSOUK and I would like the text - The forum for all radio users - bellow the Name of the forum.
The colour of the banner? Hmmm Blue would be ideal as its the colour of the skin. Text maybe White or Yellow.

Banner width - to go rite across my forum. Its set to 98% if that is of any use?

Could the www.qsouk.com be in more BOLD and it written like this www.QSOUK.com

Is it also possible to make the Yaesu radio a little narrower? It's the image below.

How do I make it the full width of the forum? I have uploaded it to the picture host but its a little too short. Can this be done?

Also how do you get rid of the colours on the header? I have been playing with them all day and the top of the header is still blue?

Can anyone help?

Cheers I have managed to stretch it but has only made the box bigger and not the banner. Never mind...

Still need to get rid of that blue header if anyone can help?
