Founder Problem

Heya

A while back we created a forum for a game clan. And now the founder of the forum has left the clan and created another. The clan is still running and the original founder is able to look at any part of the forum, tactics etc etc.

I was wondering if there is anyway that founder statue could be removed from this person and given to another.

Sorry, its not possible at the moment.

there is a way, but you'd need his permission and acceptance...

1. He changes his name to Admin
2. He changes his e-mail to the new founders
3. Th new founder changes the name to what he wats

4. (highly advised) Delete all/most of the old founders posts

Okay, I've done that for a board I'm transferring to someone else.

However, does doing this change things at the coolbb/editboard level? That is, if coolbb/editboard sends an email to the founder (change of terms, discontinuation of service, etc.), will that email now go to the email changed in step 2 above?

I know this is an old thread but I thought it was preferrable to creating a new thread. I hope that's ok.

If you changed the email listing, then the new address should take effect.
