Hiding Email Addresses

Is there a way to hide user's email addresses on their profile? Some of my members are getting unsavoury messages, and I would like to block them all for the time being.

yes tell members to simply go to there profile preferences and select no for
(Allow members to contact me by email )it's the first option at the top of the page.. cant miss it. also this is usually done from members during registration. but some tend to over look it sometimes.

you can also set it for them by going to user/groups search user name then click on it.
it will take you to there profile settings and just set it for them..
