BUG FOUND! Empty BUG FOUND!

Post by Darkstar September 27th 2008, 9:35 am

TT

I had to sign up just to rant about this BS!

So here is the Problem which I consider to be HUGE!

I have a user that signed up using his Player Guild Name,
he must have entered the wrong email address (It should have to be entered twice)
because he never got any activation email and when he choose the "Forgot Password"
it tells him his email address does not match the username.

So I think, ok no problem I'll just delete him then remove him.....

YEAH RIGHT!

I should have known it was not that simple. I can't delete him because he doesn't exist! So just make the Account again with the correct email right?

WRONG!

It does exist! WHERE? Good Question!

I'm now not able to help him use his Guild Name, and he will have to use another name which is going to cause mass confusion.

Me the Administrator of the forums and I don't even have the power to delete a un-activated user from the system.....WTF!

I have had aother problems too (Bugs) regarding creation of forums and topics not showing up till they were moved to the top of the list... scratch

I've had exactly the same thing, but I managed to fix it.
Go to your admin panel, click the 'Users and Groups' tab. In the list at the side there will be something that says 'Inactive users' go there and you will find the accounts that havn't validated.

just delete the user there, and he will be able to sign up again.
