Google Maps

Hi i did search for the solution but i haven't found one, so here it goes.

When i click who is onine and it goes to the google map it has me and my friend in swindon which is just not the case?

I changed my location in my profile but still no change.

Any help would be very appreciated

but your IP adress is still the same

but mine IP adress is not the same

Well google i getting it wrong then

The location on google maps is taken from your geographical location with relation to your ISP exchange

I.E

Your IP address matches and links to a local exchange, This is then linked into the larger exchange where your ISP is mainly based and this is where google maps gets the location from

So all in all your actual location may vary depending on where your ISP is located

Google maps displays the final location
