Hello.
I am running a family guy forum all about the tv show and one of my members thought it would be funny and got into my account and deleted my Whole site and forum that took me hours and hours to make and promote. I am now asking this site to help me, Is there a way of getting it back. Could you please help. I really want to get the forum back but it redirects me to some german forum. Please help.

Oh my god. This is just getting worse and worse. Everyone is getting hacked. Capone/ had to sign up on every forum as possible then hit one detonator button to delete us all. Stewie, I'm sorry. This is a hacker. He affected me, and tons of other people.

But I had nearly 150 active members that were registered and about 10 of them were online when the thing went off. I really want it back but I think I will never get it back. I spent nearly 4 or 5 hours working on the site and forum, I had a email from the voice of Lois on the forum in a post. I had nearly everything a Family Guy fan would want. And what happened? Some loser just decided that it was their turn to access my account and make me pay for what? For having a really awesome forum?

Why do I get the feeling that my poor forum is next?

I've taken away the forum link in my profile, just incase this person is getting the links of this site, I advise everybody else to do the same..

The best thing to do is to set your forum on holiday, and keep it where verification is required. I'm sure that when I get my account back, I will find the name (and IP) of this hacker, and I'll return him the favor.

I really want the hacker to lose connection to his internets. I worked late at night to get that family guy forum really cool. And some jerk has the guts to actually hack my forum and then delete the damn thing.

To rid your self of the redirect, log on to your site using the founder tool and go through every one of your members signatures using a HTML editor.
I suggest the firebug add on for firefox.
In one you will find a meta tag with a redirect to this German site.
Delete the signature and ban the member.
I've also noticed this "hacker" is only succeeding in forums with member approval.
Try setting your sites for admin member approval for the time being.

Don't be afraid, just up your sites security eg admin approval for new members.

I noticed a thread about a member called capone/ - My friend had this person join her site. The strange thing was capone/ showed on the homepage as last registered member but could not be found in the admin panel. Any how we deleted him/her and already have the site to admin approval for new members, so i'm hoping its under control.

Wrong if he's signed up he can be deleted, How do you know he can't be deleted?
