nav buttons question

A while back, someone posted some lovely Christmas buttons. When I tried to put them on my site, they were so teeny tiny that you couldn't see them. When I clicked on properties, it told me that they had been automatically shrunk, I have no idea why. How do I make them bigger? Everytime I tried to, it kept telling me they were shrunk, no matter how big I made them.

This issue relates to the forum version you are using, In phpbb2 the forum navigation icons are as standard small however if you use phpbb3,punbb and Invision you will find you can have larger icons

If I switch to a diff version does everything else stay the same? What version would be best?

Well yes thats a rather unfortunate downside, The minute you change to another forum version the icons, theme, etc changes as its coded differently,

The users, PM's and threads will all stay intact however everything else will be reset to the new version theme

Punbb seems to fairly bug free however its entirely upto yourself, erhaps take a look into the discussion section where they are talking about their forum versions to get an idea of what everyone is using

This is what the problem was previously so I was just checking if this was still true?

I know that when you have text & images show up together, the images shrink.
I don't think now based on the version, the sizes shrink.
