How can i make the category sections seperate on the index of my forum?

you have the "warning & read it" part
then you have a whole seperate section for the "topics" category.

basically how it is on the homepage on here: https://help.forumotion.com/forum.htm
it has "about forumotion" and its categories
then it has "Support Forum"
etc...
i'm sorry if it sounds confusing!
thats why i gave two examples lol!
so how can i do that on the index page of my forum?

I also want this. I want to show the recent topics on the home page. Not the categories. Can we have the categories in a different place like a url for the categories page in the header

Go to your Admin Panel>Display>Structures & Hierarchy
Select...Split Categories on Index...then remember to Click...Save.
This will give you the Category titles and then the forums below it.

you need to login on admin panel

Admin panel >> General >> Message & Emails

find this option, 'Separate annoucements and stickies from the messages :' and set it to 'With a table'. Press 'SAVE' button
