Ok time for everyone to pitch in and give back to forumotion. We need to update some tutorials around here and they are:

1) How to set Maximum Avatar Size?-Kilsek-sent to Caihlem
2) How to add a forum banner?-Kilsek-sent to Caihlem
3) How to make forums & categories-Kilsek-sent to Caihlem
4) How to make tables in a post-Kilsek
5) Colors and Fonts for your Forum
6) Cascading Stylesheets (CSS)

Sanket is doing the following:

1) How to make the navigation bar without the text, just buttons.
2) How to turn your html on in the posts.
3) How to activate the users manually.
4) How to ban a user, or delete a user
5) How to mail all the users in a single go? ( This is basically the Newsletter Option)
6) How to create ranks, which automatically change with the # of posts.


Therre could be more made, if you have sggestions post them!

Tips on creating tutorials:

Screen shots make it easier to member to understand, USE THEM!
In depth text description
Spelling is a plus-use proper grammar
English only

Yes, i too would also wait to submit that tut till after the update kilsek...I may even have to update my admin panel tut, and have a play with it on my test forum

rok, the problem is...iv already done the tut of the admin panel, but will have to toy around with it even more with this damn update

The Staff actually does review these tutorials here behind the scenes once they're submitted.

Darren your Admin Panel tutorial I found to be very extensively descriptive, and very helpful. Just what we need for the members to thoroughly understand how to handle the forums Administration Panel.

Oh ea, this colors for ur forum is seeming harder to do because colors are not staying visible long enough on the preview to record them

So, it's a little bit passed Caihlem's exams, and I thought that we were going to see if the updates were going to be submitted.

Anyways, I am currently having some.....computer troubles and on a rental whilst my other one is being repaired.
I have a backup copy of my work, but it is a copy of the start of the work so I have to start all over again (the 3rd time)

It'll be fixed shortly and ill have most of my data back ( Including the bit on the faq )

There wont be any updates untill all the staff them, and Caihlem reads them too

As many youths of 21, I admit to a tendancy to abuse the techilla and other liquids within reach on certain occassions. However, I do not see how it helps keep this place clean

Ok, you're right. Sorry, just trying to say it in a nice way, geesh.

I do have a question though. When do we have to finish I'll tutorials? Can we just turn them in like at any time period and have them discussed via the staff, or will the tutorials be stocked up until like a month or so?
If the second object is correct, then I guess I won't be able to have many tutorials to be presented.
As you may know, I am 14 and still in school. I have been busy reading a book for Literature and working on homework. We have at least 3 tests everyday (yes, that is right; I'm not even overexagerating). So, I just won't have many tutorials except 2 and an update on one.
