Ok time for everyone to pitch in and give back to forumotion. We need to update some tutorials around here and they are:

1) How to set Maximum Avatar Size?-Kilsek-sent to Caihlem
2) How to add a forum banner?-Kilsek-sent to Caihlem
3) How to make forums & categories-Kilsek-sent to Caihlem
4) How to make tables in a post-Kilsek
5) Colors and Fonts for your Forum
6) Cascading Stylesheets (CSS)

Sanket is doing the following:

1) How to make the navigation bar without the text, just buttons.
2) How to turn your html on in the posts.
3) How to activate the users manually.
4) How to ban a user, or delete a user
5) How to mail all the users in a single go? ( This is basically the Newsletter Option)
6) How to create ranks, which automatically change with the # of posts.


Therre could be more made, if you have sggestions post them!

Tips on creating tutorials:

Screen shots make it easier to member to understand, USE THEM!
In depth text description
Spelling is a plus-use proper grammar

I felt the same disappointment on the first page, when i saw Sanket taking everything i could do ( not much, i am not that experienced with all this forum stuff )

You could always think of something (like rok did)

find something that could be UPDATED
OR

I was just updating some stuff. But you could go though and look at what people are asking the most and make a tut for it.

I sent an update for the How to take a screen shot Tip about 2 weeks ago. I'm going to start getting into the Graphics, Proposals, Helping, and Tip business for this forum for now.

Also, I'm going to work on some Modules Tips.

I just now sent Luky an entry for a Have Any HTML Widget On Navigation Bar Tip.

It explains how to set an HTML Page as a navigation.

Kilsek, i think you should edit your first post to list who is doing or done which tutorial, the same way you added my list. That would help us, on not redoing something which is already done.

Ok I will attempt to update the list I have a couple appointments this AM but will "get 'er done!"

well, my run through of the admin panel is a little hard to put in here as a PM, plus its eaiser the way iv done it

What im doing:

What the navigational bar is, and what it does,
Banner/Logo, Pictures & Background Images

What iv submitted:
Run through the admin panel (well, sortta submitted, but it is in the staff's hand so? yea)

Completed, but not yet submitted:
Navigational bar, what it is and what it does.

Not touched:
Banner/Logo, Pictures & Background Images

Note: I'm expecting this one to take a little amount of time.

This may take me a few days though...and i didn't cover it in my admin panel run through.

I can already say though that your last tutorial, the NavBar, is most probably going to be refused. The reasons are;
> Too obvious (this button does this...)
> Not the standard bar you gave, so if members don't understand the links, they won't understand the different buttons
On the other hand, I can almost guarantee the block buster you wrote on the run through will be accepted

Make sure the tuts are clear please everyone.

I have tried to use a few tuts from here and couldnt due to bad translations

Please enumerate them. A tut is useless if it can't be understood

My bad, when I send P.Ms, I sometimes need a more formal writing than usual, and it tends to stick in my posts afterwards
