Editing images into threads (pictures not showing up)

Suddenly today I can't edit images (hosted on Photobucket, if that helps) into already-made threads...except for a select few.

I can still post images in new replies or when creating a new thread.

Basically, what's happening is that it lets me do the edit, but then doesn't show the image...it shows the IMG coding. The coding is correct.

The reason this was noticeable is because of a game we play on the forum which involves "hiding" small images into older threads.

Any ideas?

have you tried clicking the a/a button to switch editor then posting your img code?

well usually when this happens to me. it's because some of the code/links elements could be missing. like maybe a tag with something missing on the end. like img]
or [/img . are the images still showing in the thread? or coming up showing the link or partial link?

if the are still showing up as the image in the thread but not in the edit. then it's probably not what i suggested.. i have had this happen to me before but forget what it was that was doing it?

can you put the images code. in a code tag here?
i might be able ti figure it out. i did have to do this before.
