Password change

My members are having a problem changing there passwords, they do the required feilds and keeps telling them they are not doing the required feilds

U put your current password in
new password
confirm new password

and it comes up with them not doing the required feilds, is there some trick that I am missing?

nope that is all they should have to do.
I wonder if anyone else is having this problem

are they actually putting the current password they their useing right now when they loged in under the "current password" box?

And under the "New password" and "confirm new password" are they useing the EXACT same letters and numbers?

If its one of the above, that'll be the problem

They are using the correct box and no they are trying to change it from there old password and to use something totally different, I dunno it is weird!

yeah,i cant get into my board cause i forgot my admin password.no one has sent it to me yet.....

Make sure that their CAPS are off. Sometimes this will off set this.

- Founder password lost if you totally lost your password (to reach your forum and the tools)
- Tools password lost if you can't reach the tools anymore (the password is the one you used when you created your forum).

The message itself :
Indicate the url of your forum and the email you used when you created your forum :
Forum address :
Creation email :

If you have a doubt about the email you used, make a list of all the emails you have. Like this, you will have an immediate and a faster answer. If you are using a personalized domain name, please provide the last forum address you had (like http://yourforum.forumotiondomain.com).

However, an important point : DO NOT write these two information (your forum url and the creation email) in a topic on this forum !
