Want all pages to show to guests please?

I am a PC novice and as hard as I try unable to make it so all my Forumboards /catagorise are showing to guests when they visit in hope to encourage to join up.
registered users and myself Admin log in and view All

Is there a quick fix for this please.

1. Administration Panel
2. General tab
3. Categories and forums
4. Click on a forum
5. Click Permissions
6. Check Advanced
7. At Guests put a tick to : View the forum, Read the topics
8. Repeat this for all the forums.
