problem with swf flash

Hi everyone
Can anyone help me with the way of inserting a swf flash in the homepage message?
After having uploaded the flash, i picked the url and pasted it in the homepage message area but when i preview my homepage i can see the code but not the flash though the html and the bbcode are on. thank you in adance and sorry for my english.

Are you posting a code or URL?
You require a embed code of the flash. URL wont work. Can you provide the flash embed code, so i can try it & see what is wrong.

That is not a embed code for a flash html.
Its just the URL. You need a embedding code for the flash you want.
