Biggest Thread on our forum lost about 70 pages

We have NO idea why it's gone. I sign on to the admin. and we have 67 of the pages, and then when we look at the forum normally there is only 8 pages...and we had 75 pages before. We don't know what happened to them.

We're really confused and we need to know what's going on and how to get all of our pages back. We didn't do anything.

Sounds like the thread went over the 990 post maximum. It happens quite a lot.

When a thread gets too big, the board automatically locks it when you get to 1090 (I think) and starts a "part two" thread with the same title and the last 100 posts of the old thread.

If that makes sense.

It's just the way it is.

Well now it's not even the last 100 posts. There's only 37 posts and ALL the pages are completely gone. I have no idea where they are
