No Emails

This problem seems to be intermittent. I realized after receiving a PM that I was no longer receiving emails of any kind. I tested it several ways, sending myself an email through profile link, trying to register as a new member, trying to change my email address (I got no mail at either address). I checked my profile email and the email listed in the admin panel, both are correct. I confirmed my preferences for receiving emails, all are set correctly.

Then yesterday, it started working again.

Now today, I had another PM message with no email so I redid my tests. All emails have stopped again.

I'm starting to look really bad because I keep having to ask that no members try registering until I get this resolved, please help!

ok i get this from time to time i have to go in the admin page and reset it all over again here is what you need to do
1st
go to your admin page
Users & Groups
scroll down to * Users options
now click on Send notify email on new user registrations :
mark it as mod or some thing and then save then go back to this same settings and reset it to admin or you could just make the new accounts open with out a email for now til this problems fixed

this is done easy by going the same way as i have just said but then clicking on
New accounts activation : then mark it as Automatic activationi hope that will help a little bit so you dont have to ask your new account users to make a new account in a later date and t help u out some more just go in and ok the accounts u have got made and thensend them a email to let them know u have ok'ed there accounts

One of the reasons I chose this board for hosting was the testimonials about how great tech support is and yet I've PMed once and now posted and no help from support. (I did appreciate the community support, thanks!)

While I can admin my board without emails, it puts more work on me then I need. Even a "heck if we know" is better then nothing!

I love this host and the features it offers and I understand that tech support is likely busy with other's problems plus their own lives and projects. I'm just hoping on some acknowledgment that somebody is aware of the problem and will get around to it when they can.

Send notify email on new user registrations :Check it to admin

What else isn't working properly?

No emails for anything. PMs, new registrations, topics I have set to watch I can't even switch emails because I am supposed to receive one at both addresses and I get neither.

I've checked and rechecked, email is entered correctly in admin panel, in profile, forumotion is not blocked in my email options.

I'm at a loss as to why it worked, suddenly did not work, worked one day now is not working again.

And I had registrations set to admin. I tried setting it to user, attempted to create a new user myself, no email, now it is set to auto.

In your profile, preferences tab
Notify by mail when a new message has arrived in your in-box :Check it to Yes.

Tell me what happens next

I did not change anything but emails are working again!
