Solved Footer CSS code

Hello, I was wondering if it is allowed by forummotion to add this CSS code below to hide the footer links at the bottom of the forum if I have a link back to forummotion on the forums main page in the Forum widgets side panel. I have the phpBB3.

I removed the code, but still require a direct answer to this rather simple question. Yes I have read other threads concerning this issue but have not heard anything using the phpBB3.

Its not allowed to remove the footer links.
