Opening a file saved as .php
Anyone know how to open this type of file?

Hello Dungeon Master,
Well, I'd recommend Notepad or Wordpad. You can view and edit using both of these programs, but Wordpad is more stable.

As Base said - they can be opened in either of those programs (or any other application - even microsoft word (highly unrecomended!)) :
Id suggest Notepad++ - its open source, VERY fast, and can open it properly with syntax highlighting/colouring. I've built entire websites and php applications using it, and its awesome!

Oh man I messed up I clicked to open with adobe by mistake and now it keeps wanting to open with it.
Now how can I fix this?

Glad to have helped! For that query:
Right click on the file and click on:
Open with...
Choose Default Program...
Find the correct program and check: Always use the selected program to open this type of file
Click OK.

Adobe WHAT? - If its Dreamweaver, let it be! Its quiet good

You'll have to set all of your file associations again.
by right clicking on a file / open with / select a program from a list and ticking the box at the bottom.
Or use system restore to go back to before the accident.
