Can't find User in User List

Can't find user name in list.
He claimed that he has been on my forum before.

I asked him to re-register. When he did, it said this user name is already being used and would not allow him.

Then he tried with a new user name and his only e-mail. It responded by saying that this e-mail is already in use.

What now?

Users & groups>Inactive Users
Find the user & activate him.

It worked perfect, and I'm sure if I had looked closely I could have found where you solved that problem for other users in the past.
