Solved "Forum In Construction" Problem

Post by Steel Fire 21/2/2009, 20:43

I want to surprise the users of my forum with adding some special things, but i don't want them to see it before its done.
So I just put the forum in construction, but, I have i 2 questions about it;

1. How long does this last? Does it turn off after an amount of time?

2. I know that administrators will still be able to use the forum when its in construction, but what about moderators? Will mods be able to view it? If the mods can, then is there i way i can make it so they can't?

Thanks to whoever answers these questions.

ok, the "Forum In Construction" ends after 24 hours, or all administrators log out. And no, only Admins may access the forum while it is in construction.

Hope this helped Smile

In addition to this, you can also put your forum in "on holidays" mode, which will continue AFTER "the forum in construction" ends, which allows all to view the forum, just not log in nor to reply / make new threads.
