Protecting my new forum

Good morning.

On Sunday I opened a new forum and it is doing beautifully. Thank you for all you help so far.

My forum was born because the one we were all on before was destroyed by a sick and malicious individual. I have been warned that this person could be looking for our group to damage us again.

Are there any safety nets I can put in place? If we can find the IP address of this person could we put a ban on it before she arrives and how can I make the new forum inaccessible to people trawling the net? It would be devastating to be sabotaged a second time, especially when we have found such a great 'home'.

And also some important tips, don't led to anyone your password account on your forum. So your forum would be safe from hackers.
