Background colour in chat box

I am new to this and even though I know I have to go into colours to change the background colour of my chat box I cannot find exactly where to change it

At the moment it is a dark grey colour and I can barely see anyones posts

Any help would be appreciated greatly thanks

Thanks but under colours I can see background colour 1 background colour 2 background colour 3 etc so how do I know which one is the chat box one?

If you're using phpbb2, Change the one which says Background colour.
