Solved Forum Squished To One Side?

Post by Cravepain Mon 6 Apr - 22:56

Hello,

For starters this is not regarding my particular forum, rather a friends who I am trying to help.

Her forum seems to have been squished to the left side of the screen, which makes it pretty much impossible to do anything. Does anyone have any ideas on why this may have happened, and how to fix it? I was thinking maybe the width was messed with, but I am not too sure being I can not access the Administrator Panel for that forum. I will direct any solutions you guys may have to her. Smile

Here is a link to the forums:

Thank you so much in advance,
- Nikki

Hi Nikki . . .

This is something many forums have been having. I had the exact same problem, but it *fixed* itself three days ago. Look here:

Good luck . . . .

Of course! I'm sorry I didn't post one beforehand.

Bpoetic, that link you sent me doesn't really have the same issue she is having. Though similar, she is having problems with the entire forum being scooted over to the left.

I do think it is the same problem, though. This issue of things being pushed to the left is a problem I had also. My home page looked identical to your friend's page there.

I hope she doesn't have to wait as long to get it fixed. Others, from the previous thread, are still waiting.

Sanket, I mean no disrespect - but the fact that you never seem to experience the woes of other forum administrators is not the most comforting thing to me,as well as it appears some other posters here may feel too.

Have you spoken with tech - or with those higher up than you? There seems to be multitude of problems caused by this last update. You saying you don't experience these problems does NOT minimise the effect others may be experiencing on their forums.

Would you give us a word that someone other than yourself is looking into things? You have made your point . . . please lay this (for us) in the hands of someone else who may be able to help.

Thank you

Bpoetic, when the problem is not appearing to me.
What do you want me to suggest about the issue? His forum looks fine to me, so thats what i replied. Its fixed probably.

Also, issues related to the update were asked to post in the only topic thread by typlo himself in the link in my signature. So someone does look into things, thats typlo.

What we can do is suggest what could be done to fix problems, even we don't have 100% solutions because we don't have access to anything except troubleshooting to help users.

Also here is his forum

Edit: Also, i would like to clarify. I do care, thats why i try to follow up with whichever thread i am helping a member.
