How to add multiple skins?

I KNOW you can have a skin selector with phpbb3, I just don't know how.

Can someone give me a screenshot tutorial on how to have multiple skins your members can choose from? Mr. Green

i think he ask .. how to have more skins then one .... not how to install skin...
skin selector is for members, to choose skin on index page, of forum ...
forumotion dont have this option

This is not possible on Forumotion.

hi Zezima.
this is an option only for paid phpp3 forums.you mean you can have a skin for say your index page then when you go to a forum or sub then it's a whole different skin.So yes that is pretty cool but at this time forumotion dose not have this option.

No, I mean this site used to have a ".forumotion.com" tag, and when it did, it still had the skin changer:

the nav links in the link above are being redirected to other places that are not part of that forum or even forumotion.seems like just the portal and the forum tab are the same forum?
i mean there might be a way to have more skins on your forum by doing the css sheet or script? but as far as i know it's basically one skin per forum.

oops actually i dont remember seeing Sanket's reply yesterday it seems he has already answered it.

yes i understand that. but the navigation links at the top. like say top sites for instance. that is going to something that's not forumotion. that's why the skin is different. it just seems the top sites is the only thing thats the different skin. oh and the blog.

haha lol. i'm not laughing at you and just laughing at the situation as a whole i understand things can be confusing sometimes.happens to us all Smile

what they did is added there own navigation tabs along with the link that is redirecting them to the top site page. but there forum part is forumotion.
understand what i mean now.

the forumotion forum skin remains the same. you can only have one. but you can create other nav tabs that can redirect you to other places.

like look at my forum here. at the top right hand side you see a www tab/button that would take you to our website. thats what they did

what add your own nav tab/button that will lead you to another place?

admin panel>display> scroll down to Nav links and at the bottom there you will see ware to add customized menu.

now as far as trying to have more skins according to a couple members above and sanket that can not be done.i am unsure if you can do that in css.
if you could i dont think they would have told you it cant be done.

so hope that helps you a lil. in you need more help creating a new nav tab just hit us back here. but you will see that's pretty self explanatory when you go to it in your admin panel.
