Banner-auto resolution resize? Empty Banner-auto resolution resize?

Post by xtokiwartoothx April 30th 2009, 4:50 am

Is there a way to set the site banner to auto resize depending on the resolution someone is using?

Because I use 1680 by 1050, but a lot of people on my site only use 1024x768, or other sizes.

Basically I set my banner width to 1024, which looks really weird on my screen and others with large screens because there's a giant white space on each side, while others with smaller screens have the banner going outside of the boarder extending to the right.

So yeah, that's my question. Any solutions?

Have you ever tried resizing it? http://resizepic.com/ is a good site to resize your image(s) at.

I know how to resize a picture, I have photoshop.

I want the banner to resize automatically depending on the resolution someones using. This is a common feature on most professional websites, I figured it would be here as well.
