Hi All, i'm new to this forum game, have been running my forum for about a year now, it's been basic up to now only using the help menu for a few things here and there.
My members are asking more of the forum as our club has grown. one of the things i have been asked is: can we add links and info on the home page like what is to the right of this forum? i.e. the shortcut menu, latest topics, google search and so on.

Any help would be great

go to your adminstration panel

Modules => Portal and widgets => Forum Widges management


Display forum widgets : YES


the width 180 is a good 1.. use that.

scroll down

drag any widget to the Column 1 or 2.

if you want to create your own click at Create a custom block

Do you mean add a widget,example:What you see on the right of forumotion~ moving topics,shortcuts...

Administration Panel=>Modules=>Portal & Widgets=>Forum widgets management=>Forum widgets management=>Creat a custom block=>Create what you want using html=>Save.

Then:
Administration Panel=>Modules=>Portal & Widgets=>Forum widgets management=>Forum widgets management=>Forum widgets general options=>Display forum widgets=>Yes=>Save.

You can manage where the widgets can be added,in Forum widgets management.
