moderator's problem

i'm the only one admin in my forum and i have moderator in my forum
i just built the forum, and the moderator said that the Private Message, on navigation link, doesn't appear. But when i check in Display->Headers&Navigation->Navbar Preview, there is Private Message in Moderators Navbar Preview.
Can you help me please?

and, the other one, can moderator lock a thread or a post?

Check his profile in the admin panel. It might be possible that you allowed him/her to not see or give out PM's.

I know that that's a feature in the admin panel to revoke such privileges to unruly members.

no, i allow her to send private messages.
she has refreshed her page but yet there's no Private Message on her Navbar

i wanna allow moderator to lock a thread or a pst, but i dont know where can i find the option..
