Re: Warning Error
claire is rite... it's a problem with servimg...
(the image hosting service)
I was wondering if some1 could help me with that: https://help.forumotion.com/other-problems-f46/servimg-malware-t44507.htm
I don't think it's got anything to do with the fire wall xD

Re: Warning Error
Thank you. OK so the answer is to change to Imageshack? I like servimg though.. have you only had this error recently?
Would it be the fact that iv submitted a sitemap or that im now using Chrome? Only one other member has had it and they are the only other one using Chrome?
Im just a bit concerned that visitors will see it and get out quick

Re: Warning Error
Oh it might not have anything to do with firewall if it's happening to more than one member. I just know that when I have to download programs for my computer, such as with my recent internet service, I had to change the firewall settings.
Figured it was worth a last try if all else fails.

Re: Warning Error
Thanks Lee.. well the only thing iv done is the sitemap and changed to chrome.. before that.. no warnings. no other members have had the warning (so does that rule out sitemap) so it must be that chrome is picking up on something that firefox and explorer dont.. am i right??
omg i dont understand

no xD
I use safari (on mac) and it's been happening to me...
it's a prob in servimg I assume
and yes I've only noticed today so I presume it's recent
Re: Warning Error
Well if that's the case, it would be their problem and they will probably be on it shortly. It's still early in the morning, sort of.
Re: Warning Error
This has been happening for over a week (maybe two). I'm using Chrome and get the same error. I'm having serious thoughts about hosting my forum somewhere else, as internet noobs think my forum is full of spyware and won't visit.

Re: Warning Error
I found out the problem:
The theme I was using was causing the malware warning. I was using the 2xG Green and Grey theme, so I switched it over to the basic Invision theme and have not had the warning since.
In order to keep my old colours, forum images, etc, I manually changed all the colours over to what they were on the old theme, and I saved the old theme images to my hard disk and uploaded them to a free image hosting site other than servimg.com.
So far so good. It looks like some themes link to servimg somewhere in their CSS files, and that's what causes the problem.
