Invision Free forums Are they legal?

Ok so I think this site is really cool but I could not help but ask is the Invision free forum a legit legal forum solution? I know out of the 4 forum platforms you offer this is the only paid platform and I would not want to make a forum that violates any laws. I can of course make a phpbb forum but would like an Invision one if i can get a legit confirmation that this is infact a legal way of using a Invision forum.

I do appologize if this is coming off as me accusing anyone of willingly violating any laws this is not my point. I just am not sure if Invision allows this I know they used to back with the 1.0.x versions but I am assuming your using 2.x.x and eventually 3.0

Invision Free, is a 100% legit board, after all, you have to be legal to be copyrighted.
And their copyrighted Wink

You dont have to pay for any board here on forumotion either

EDIT: forumotion is using their custom InVision too

Ok thanks for the confirmation I assumed they may have made arrangements with Invision to do it but I wanted to be 100% sure

My point was in order to use invision forumotion would have had to license it from invision and i was not sure if the license allowed making an auto forum script

Forumotion doesnt use Invision, but the 4 options you have are just style, it does not mean your forum is different, all forums on forumotion are the same software(or whatever you want to call it (modified phpbb2) ), when u change the 'version', you change how it looks, so it can look almost like phpbb3, almost like invision, etc.

Fyi i know what you're on about, unlike the open source forum 'versions' forumotion offers (phpbb2,phpbb3,punbb << are all open source), invision isnt and requires a paid license to use (i'm talking from a hosting yourself pov), forumotion doesnt use any of them (except the core which is phpbb2), it just makes ur forum look like it.
