(friends) Forum hacked and deleted!!!

Hi, www.osipaonica.4forum.biz was a few minutes ago hacked and deleted! XXXXXXXXXXXXXX The problem is that they and their group come to my forum [Enter08] where they are posting pornographics with names of the member... They send PM's... They hacked Enter08 once!! They are theathening that they are do it again but first they want to distroy the forum topic by topic... I banned abou 50 members in a fews days... The things that they have done should be reported to the police!

If you are using hotmail / msn etc for your admin email account I suggest changing it pronto...

If your forum aren't deleted yet, then change the administrator password.

And let only you be in the Admin Group, make sure that the group is locked.

I am not sure what you mean by this.
But you might want to consider activating any new members yourself or closing registrations for a few days.You can also change your link and mass email all your members the new link.

But if doing this make sure you get rid of all the bad apples first and ban all of them.
You can even put your forum in construction or holiday mode to go through everything to get it straightened out then reopen and possibly do one or a few things that i have suggested.

So try them things and decide what you think is the best way and let us know how you make out and if this problem is still persisting.

Basically the only thing you can do is just moderate the post,and ban any members like this.And be cautious on who you allow in.Unfortunately this is just a territory that comes with running forums.Now if a member or people are indeed Hacking in to your forum. this will have to be handed over to a administrator for further investigation.
This can take time and is beginning to become a problem because there are so many claims of peoples forums being hacked into, when in reality it can just be a case of irresponsible staff or bitter members trying to start problems Etc....(the list goes on)

I am not saying this is the case Just trying to explain that it's very hard to take seriously since there are so many false claims.So for a administrator to investigate it might take a lil time but they will help if the forum is indeed being hacked into?
