Search not working

The Search feature on my forum doesn't appear to be working. When I search for terms that I know have been discussed numerous times, it always comes up with zero results. Any suggestions on how to fix?

Your searh is working fine. i searched 'pugs" and alot of topics came up.
try clearing your Cache.

It is a pug forum so the majority of posts probably have that word in it. It's other topics though, that I know have been discussed and that members should be able to search for, that don't come up.
