Rank users

I have it set on my forum that when a member hits a certain number of posts they receive a "special" item and name under "rank users". Well, I would also like for the moderators, and myself (admin) to participate as well. But... I have my moderators ranked as "moderators" and they all have stars. How can I allow them to receive a special rank along with the item under their profile, and also keep their stars, and "moderator" name?

You cant assign one person to more than one rank picture.
You can but only one will show.


I would not have staff participate in it anyway, because seeing as they are staff they would have to moderate the system

Users and groups > Profiles

Create a new field for images and have the Staffs ranks on those and remove the staff ranks from

Users and groups> Ranks administration.

Then the staff will be able to participate and have staff ranks. You will have to go to the staffs profile and change the field for staff instead of going into the admin panel.

I went in and made a new field for "admin" but it is not showing up under my name in my messages.

Okay... So, I just go in and make you an admin until you fix it for me? If you look at any threads you will see that my forum is very informal, and probably has nothing to do much with the title of my forum :p We all are just a group of people who came from the ABC message board lol!!

You can change the Admin/Mods ranks there. And the other ranks will change automatically.

I also noticed that my rank "images" are not showing up in their profile when they type a message, but that could be a glitch when I was pasting the url.

Could you put that into a little more detail? Do you mean you get text instead of the image? I can fix that too

I have pictures under each rank. For instance, when a member first joins they get a fish biscuit, lol (It pertains to the show Lost) then as they build up their post count they get a jar of Dharma peanut butter (which also pertains to the show). Well.. those "rank" pictures arent showing up.

I could replace the text with the Image. Does that sound OK?

Yes, I would rather have the image But, I noticed that you dont have "staff: stars" for the admins. And only have "staff: stars" for the moderators, but not the other that I was wanting them to participate in

It works perfectly with johnny_english13's profile.

The admin rank is the one with the more stars. The Moderator one is the one with less.

Okay.. I"ll have to take a look at his. Yes, the admin has gold stars, and the mods have blue stars and not as many.

Yes. The Admin and Mod things are working fine. You just need to change them on everyones profiles now. (I might if I get some spare time).

I'll fix those ranks now

Oceanic Golden Pass
Jin's Panda Bear
Drive Shaft VIP Pass

The other two have been sorted.

Okay...I will go back and try to add the images again. Can I load the images from my computer instead of the url link? I have those saved on my computer.

Upload the images to Rapidshare.com and give me the link to the file download. I will handle it from there.

Well...... I went to my profile to change the rank title....... but all it would not let me change it... all that is provided is "no special rank assigned"
